Default How to claim brownie points

Hey guys,

As you know, Sorority Life is supported through you, the players, and in partnership with independent companies that supply offers and facilitate transactions.

The offers you see on the House Mom page come from exactly one of three sponsors. I have NO ROLE in choosing the offers, seeing that they work properly, or giving credit for them.

The following guides are designed to assist you in successfully completing offers within Sorority Life. Please make sure to do your due diligence when filling out offers, by reading all of the fine print and fully completing the offers prior to contacting support.

Also please do not commit fraud by claiming to have completed an offer you didn't or submitting multiple support requests.

Finally please do not contact me directly about offer related matters. Please use the following tutorials to get help. Below is support information for each of the three sponsors; read the one that matches exactly what you see on the House Mom page.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As a Sorority Life player you may not know which offer company your account is associated with. If this is the case I suggest looking at all three guides, as each offer company has a unique user interface and graphics that are specific to their version of the House Mom page.

Gambit Offer Support Tutorial

Official Gambit FAQ: http://getgambit.com/faq

Before you submit a Ticket below please read this FAQ

Reasons and complications why you may not received your credits at this time:

  • You may not have fulfilled the requirements necessary to be credited.
  • Ad blocking software prevents advertisers from placing the cookies required to track the offers.
  • Browser security settings configured to not accept third party cookies, causing the report to fail.
  • Software on your computer that is hijacking the cookies and crediting the offer completion to another company.
  • Keep all proofs of purchase in order to insure that you receive your credits if you encounter a problem. This includes PIN #s, payment receipts, charge invoices or charge receipts, etc. Keeping this information will increase the speed of processing your complaint with advertisers.

  1. How do I correctly complete an offer?
    • The necessary steps to complete each offer are written in gray beneath the title and at the top of the popup window after you select an offer. To ensure that you complete the offer successfully, please use accurate information and complete each offer in one sitting (without refreshing the page). Advertisers validate your information and do not award users who provide incorrect information. With false information, the advertiser will not credit you even if you complete the rest of the offer (including making a payment).
  2. What and where is the Record ID#?
    • The Record ID# is the case number of each specific complaint filed. It can be found at the top of the page while viewing the individual complaint.
  3. How long does it take to get awarded for completing an offer?
    • The length of time for an offer to award you depends on the particular offer and ranges from minutes to days. The estimated time it takes to get credit on some offers is labeled on the offer panel. Please only file a complaint after waiting the specified time.
  4. I had an error in the middle of completing an offer, do I still get credited?
    • Unfortunately, if you do experience an error and cannot complete the offer, we cannot credit your account. Gambit does not host any of the offer sponsor's websites on our servers so we have no control over any errors experienced on their sites. We constantly monitor each offer and remove it if we notice errors.
  5. How many times can I complete an offer?
    • You may only complete each offer once. Completing an offer more than once will not result in extra payments. An offer sponsor will not allow you to complete an offer more than once with similar information.
  6. Are the payment pages hosted on a secure server?
    • Yes, Gambit takes the security of our users very seriously. All our payments are processed through secure servers and are safe.
  7. How is my information used by the advertiser?
    • The use of your information once entered on the sites vary from sponsor to sponsor. Read each offer sponsor's "Terms and Conditions" documents for more information.
  8. How do I unsubscribe from an offer?
    • Gambit does not handle any of the services or products of our advertisers. If you would like to unsubscribe from an offer or stop receiving emails/calls/texts from offer providers, you must contact them directly.
  9. How do I pay for credits through the Direct Payment/Paypal?
    • Paypal is a 3rd party payment provider that allows one to make online payments using their credit or debit card through a guaranteed secure network. After choosing an amount of credits to purchase, create an account on Paypal or login to your current Paypal account, and pay for your credits.

Please do not attempt to commit fraud or submit duplicate complaints.

Filing more than one complaint per offer only slows down the process and we will do our best to respond to you within 24 hours. If we find out you are attempting to fraud your account will be banned.

Default If you're having problems receiving "Confirmation" e-mails-BY: dotaquote:

BY: dotaquote

Some offers don't send us the confirmation e-mail that we're asked to provide when we send in a report, so I thought I'd offer some advice as to what to do if this is the case because I've seen a lot of people complaining about not being able to do anything without it.

(Note that this may not always work, but it has worked every time I've used it)

I'm not the first to say this, but some people have still not taken into consideration: Try taking screen captures.

Taking screen shots are a great way to prove that you've gotten to a certain step, have registered as you should've, have completed the offer you were told to, or have followed whatever other orders you were told to do. More than once I've used screen shot (and then uploaded them to a free server such as tinypic) to prove that I've done what I've supposed to do when I wasn't able to receive a confirmation e-mail. So far, anytime I've sent in my screen shot of whatever I need to to prove that I've done what I was told to, I've been rewarded my brownie points.

I bring this up because today, the House Mom rewarded me with 102 brownie points, and it was all because of being smart about screen shots.

I had done the Gamefly offer and after awaiting almost two weeks, I still hadn't received my brownie points. I couldn't find my confirmation e-mail anywhere, but I knew what I had to do.

I simply took a screen capture of my offers page showing the date that I filled out the offer, then I took a screen capture of My Account on Gamefly, showing the day my billing date started. After a couple of days and reviews from admins, I was rewarded my brownie points for providing accurate information that worked just as well as if I were to copy and paste my confirmation e-mail I had gotten.

So remember, keep this in my mind with each offer you do. I've never done an offer where I haven't made sure that I took all the information I may or may not need, just in case I did need it. Customer Service (the people who handle rewarding you) do a GREAT job of working with what you can provide for them more times than not.

I hope that helps out some people!
