Honestly I prefer the 1st image, I think the pose is spot on in that and in the second, whilst nice, for me it loses a bit of character from the face/look. Comparing them both I also like the shadows more now, somehow it adds something to the pic!

here's my very first design. The outfit is from my collection that
I'm currently working on as a final profect for my class. I wanted to make my own SL design even if I won't be able to join the contest since the submission for deadline is over. The hair I had to find on the web and the shoes I had to make because I couldn't find anything at Google. Advise anyone on what exactly to search for? I found several shoes but they wouldn't fit the avatar.  I guess the design wasn't as worse as I thought it would be.
